“Reification in knowledge representation is the process of turning a predicate or statement into an addressable object. Reification allows the representation of assertions so that they can be referred to or qualified by other assertions, i.e., meta-knowledge.” -
We may over-reify knowledge more than we previously thought, IMO.
Not reifying knowledge may make it easier to create new understanding, that otherwise would be lost or incompatible.
In fact, this is a part of my philosophical process for reaching new solutions or understandings. And it works!
